Over $30K raised for Roundhouse

The Friends of Roundhouse 2009 benefit party, called Night Before Christmas, was held Thursday, December 3 in the atrium at Illini Plaza in Champaign. Over 200 people attended. "While some of the proceeds continue to trickle in the proceeds have already exceeded the $30,000 dollar mark," according to Sheila Ferguson, CEO of the Mental Health Center of Champaign County. Located in central Champaign, Roundhouse is the only Homeless and Runaway Youth Shelter in a 90 mile radius. Additional donations can be made to Friends of Roundhouse, and mailed to 1801 Fox Drive, Champaign IL 61820. www.mhcenter.org.
