Illini Union

As students return to classes and the community, the University of Illinois campus is swelling back to normal activity levels. Located at the north end of the main quad, just east of Green and Wright Streets, the Illini Union was dedicated in 1941 as the campus' home for organizations, meetings, and student programs and activities. It replaced a building known as University Hall. Today, the Illini Union amenities include a hotel, a credit union, a convenience store, information services, CITES instructional facility, a remote ticket office for Assembly Hall, quick-service restaurants, a bowling alley and arcade, student performance spaces, and office space for Registered Student Organizations, student government, and Union administration. Take a UI photo tour.
