Bitter cold and impending snow are the universal concern to C-U residents this week. As beautiful as the Bardeen Quad may be this week, the students are undoubtedly grateful to not be forced into the wintery elements for classes yet. Located on the engineering campus, the Bardeen Quad is bounded by the Grainger Engineering Library on the north, the Mechanical Engineering Laboratory on the east, the Engineering Hall on the south, and Talbot Laboratory on the west. The quad features courtyards, stone retaining walls along the Boneyard Creek, a fountain, and a landscaped garden outside the north entrance to Engineering Hall. Take a UI photo tour.
